Jackie's flat is on the second floor of a two story building; there are four apartments on each floor, separated by a main staircase & hall.  At the moment, the apartment across from Jackie's is vacant.  Jackie lives above Melissa, and Ada's flat is across from Melissa's, also on the first floor.
